My family and I love Jewel of India! First of all, it has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, which I really appreciate in a restaurant. Second, the service is amazing! Everyone we’ve ever interacted with here is so attentive and kind. Waters always filled, checking in not too little or too much. Third, the food is really delectable. All the meat is tender; tandoori cooked just right; rice perfect. Veggie dishes are delicious, especially the saag paneer. Sauces are all wonderful; large variety of chutneys. Perfect naan. And it’s great for kids: My boys (11, 9, 7) gobbled up everything on the buffet! Finally, don’t forget to order their chai, which is not overly sweet so that the flavors really come through.

I discovered this wonderful restaurant in the early 2000s probably around 2001 and was so delighted and ecstatic to see that they had a buffet for lunch. That was a great price! Back then it was $11.95 today. It's $15.95 which is still a great price! The duel of India has one of the best Indian food buffets I have found in the city and surrounding areas of the Denver metro area! I've tried restaurants in Aurora, Littleton, Denver, Lakewood, Englewood, etc. + the Jewel of India has the best selection. Everything from their mint chutney to dandoori chicken straight from the tandoori oven, their bosmati rice, but the other rice that includes saffron, green beans, carrots. And of course the desserts of the donut balls in the syrup. The yogurt, fruit and rice pudding! Definitely worth the drive and the price is wonderful. Oh and plenty of naan to soak up all the juices. I like to eat it with the Saag!!!

We had no idea what delicacy we were getting ourselves into. We had a table for 6 about an hour before close and it was the most heavenly experience to grace my taste buds in months. The service made me feel like royalty. The drinks were exquisite and full. The food memorable. Definitely a great spot for a date night or to try Indian cuisine in a fine establishment. Many options in the menu.
